Spring is in the air

Todd and I enjoyed a wonderful day at the Daffodil field this past Friday. The weather was so nice and the daffodils were in full bloom! Todd and I had a blast taking pictures of little Miss Lilly and Little Miss "Izzy". We followed them around the daffodil field and really got to capture their expressions of being outside and playing in this beautiful field of daffodils! Needless to say I don't know who had more fun the girls or Todd? All in all it was a great day for getting outside and taking great pictures, which we have been itching to do. We still have some times available for picture sessions at the daffodil field for the next two weekends. Give us a call if you would like to schedule a time!

Old Man Whickutt

Hello friends. This past weekend we got together with some of our good friends Rob and Sarah Hall at their daughter's 4th birthday party. It was a blast. Rob which is half of the band Old Man Whickutt entertained the kids with his guitar. They had a great time running in cirlces around him. If you have never heard Old Man Whickutt I would suggest giving them a listen. They have played several gigs locally such as Freeboot Friday's, made a couple of appearances on Folk Scene (tv show here in Greenville) among other local venues as well as across the state. Rob is an excellent guitar player, mandolin, harmonica and there is no telling what else he has gotten in to lately. His brother is the other half of Whickutt and together they play some sweet bluegrass. Rob tells me they are playing at the Pirate Fest April 18th. Check 'em out if you can. You won't be disappointed.

Spring Fever Has Arrived!

Let's see. The ground hog says six more weeks of winter and there were snow showers in parts of eastern NC today. Is winter ever going to end? We are ready for some warm weather so we can get outside and out of the studio for a while. The beach is certainly calling our name which also means Easter is just around the corner. This year we will be taking Easter portraits at the daffodil field just outside of Winterville, NC. If you have never seen or heard of it, it's a beautiul sight to behold and an excellent setting for spring/Easter portraits. The time frame for the daffodils is pretty quick so call to make your appointment soon! They are just about in full bloom now so probably in the next week or two they will be ready. If you can't make the daffodil sitting we will be doing studio portraits as well. We have an assortment of props to make a beautiful or rather entertaining Easter picture like our favorite model is demonstrating. Hope everyone is doing well and let's hope warm weather is on it's way!

Happy Valentine's Day

Can you believe that February is already here? I truly love the month of February. This year Todd and I will be celebrating our third year wedding anniversary . Time truly does fly by when you are enjoying your life! Miss Olivia will be celebrating her first Valentine's Day with Todd and I. She is growing really fast. She has been such a great model for us and I hope that one day she looks back and laughs at how many pictures we have taken of her. Todd and I are getting ready for Spring/Easter portraits,we can't wait to get outside and takes some wonderful pictures! This year we will be taking our outside Easter portraits at the daffodil field just outside of Winterville.
